Send Gift Flowers
It has become extremely common in our society to send gift flowers. Although I would like to question the merits of those who send gift flowers. Personally, I have always seen flowers as more of a gesture and less as a gift. Flowers are only temporary. Who wants a gift that is going to die within a week? To send gift flowers seems to me like a way out of getting a real gift for someone. This is not to say that I would never send gift flowers. I have done so in the past and will likely do it again in the future. Since it has become an acceptable replacement for a real gift, when I do not have much time to do something better I will again send gift flowers.
However, for those closest to me, I like to think that I will be able to avoid having to send gift flowers. As well, it is strange that to send gift flowers can only really be done for a female. I have sent flowers to my female friends in the past for various reasons, and they have always appreciated the gesture. But I think that if I ever send gift flowers to a male friend of mine, I would either get beat up or taunted for longer than I care to think about. As a male myself, I am thankful that it is not normal to send gift flowers to us. This will hopefully ensure that my friends and family have to come up with a better idea of what to get me than flowers that will die quickly. So despite my complaining, I guess that to send gift flowers works out fairly well for me. I guess it is the recipients that should really be complaining here.
