Send Cheap Flowers
One of the greatest things about sending someone flowers is that even if you send cheap flowers, they are so surprised by the gesture that they will love them anyways. Don’t get me wrong, if you can an elaborate and expensive bouquet, then you should do so. However, as a recent university graduate I understand the constraints of a tight budget, which means that for me to send cheap flowers is really my only option. The largest downside I have found when going to a store to send cheap flowers is that the store clerk has often given me strange looks because I am taking the time to send a small, inexpensive bouquet. As long as you won’t be fazed by the store clerk that laughs at you when you send cheap flowers, you should have no problem.
I should add one important word of caution for those who want to send cheap flowers. You should remember that quality is more important than quantity. If you are deciding between sending three or four nice flowers as a bouquet, or ten lower quality flowers, always choose the nicer ones. I am not sure why, but people will always enjoy a few Gerber daisies, yet be insulted by a full bouquet of carnations. If you can stand by this rule when you send cheap flowers, than the recipient will almost surely be extremely grateful. As well, if you can afford to send a nicer arrangement but still send cheap flowers, whoever receives them will be less impressed and you will probably come off as cheap.
